Jeanette Meyer, Owner and Artistic Director
Ms. Meyer is a former professional dancer with the Mesa Civic and Ballet Az. In her youth she studied ballet in the Cleveland and Akron areas and was chosen at the age of 10 to perform with the New York City Ballet in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at the Blossom Music Center. She studied classical ballet in New York City and received dance scholarships from the American Ballet Theatre and the Ford Foundation. Ms. Meyer took classes from the faculty of Fairmount Center , ABT and dance notables such as Heinz Poll , Bill Evans , Joe Tremaine and Suki Schorer, and Freddick Bratcher . After retiring from her professional dance career she moved back to Ohio, married and had two daughters. She opened DANCE in 1999.
